Project summary
Fovea is a free personal development community offering programmes, resources, and coaching to help people see beyond the stories and constraints holding them back. The client came with a polished flat design and needed it translated into a live Wix site without compromise, while also giving members a dedicated private space to connect, learn, and grow together.
The real challenge on the public site was technical. Wix is a powerful platform for many users, but its drag-and-drop architecture imposes significant constraints on layout precision, making pixel-perfect conversion from a flat design a genuinely difficult problem. Achieving the intended design required working within and around those limitations to preserve every detail of the visual language: the typography, spacing, image treatments, animated feature icons, and the structured rhythm of sections across the page.
The site uses Circle, a complete community platform that gives Fovea members their own dedicated home for discussions, courses, events, and resources, all accessible through a seamless login from the public site. The result is a two-layer experience: a polished, brand-consistent public face that draws visitors in, and a rich, private member space that keeps them engaged for the long term.
A project that demonstrates the ability to take a designer’s vision and deliver it accurately, bring together third-party platforms into a cohesive whole, and navigate the real constraints of consumer website builders without losing quality.
